Which specification to ask for
ASTM International lists A992 as its specification for structural steel shapes and A36 as its specification for carbon structural steel. A structural drawing usually names one of them for each member. Copy the specification from the drawing into the item list, and ask a supplier before you substitute one for the other. ASTM A6 sets the general requirements for rolled bars, plates, shapes and sheet piling, including the size and straightness tolerances a mill works to.
How to write the item list
Give the shape, the size, the specification, the length and the count on each line. A wide-flange beam is written by its nominal depth and weight per foot, such as W8x18.

Yes. The form takes requests from a single piece for a repair to repeat orders for a shop. Give the order size you expect, so a supplier can tell whether the order fits what it sells.
Can I attach a drawing?
The form takes no uploads. Paste a link to a drawing, cut list or bar list stored in a shared drive or folder.
What happens to my contact details?
