What to give for each plate
Give the thickness, the width, the length, the grade and the count. If the drawing names a specification, copy it. ASTM A36 is ASTM International’s specification for carbon structural steel, and ASTM A6 covers the general requirements for rolled plate, including tolerances on thickness and flatness.
